Ana Matthews

Nurse Practitioner

Ana Matthews is a currently a registered Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA endorsement. Ana is also an international medical graduate (IMG) who graduated as a Medical Doctor in 2004 in South America. She is a current candidate for the Australian Medical Council standard pathway to obtain registration for IMGs wishing to practice medicine in Australia.

Ana is highly skilled and experienced in the management of chronic pain, geriatric medicine (dementia, behaviours of concern, polypharmacy), and lifestyle medicine.

- Masters of Nursing Studies,

- Master of Nurse Practitioner,

- Graduate Certificate in Applied Gerontology,

- Certificate IV in training and assessment

Ryan Semera

Nurse Practitioner

Ryan is an APHRA endorsed Nurse Practitioner and Credentialled Diabetes Educator. Ryan considers himself an "Alternative Medicine advocate for people who are feeling hopeless and helpless when it comes to finding relief for their health conditions."

Ryan has extensive experience over his career in both private and public health organisations, community centers and private practices. In Ryan's words; "These experiences allow me to manage a variety of chronic and acute conditions and consult with people from different walks of life and diverse cultures."

Alex Ensor

Registered Nurse

Since graduating from university in 2001 as a Registered Nurse, Alex has worked throughout the UK and Australia in tertiary trauma and critical care facilities. Working the majority of her nursing career in providing clinical care to critically sick and injured patients in intensive care, Alex has witnessed the consequences of how chronic conditions, injuries and mental health, affects ones quality of life. Prior to this she worked as a pharmacy assistant and gained an interest in how medicines effect the body. Most recently, Alex has branched out of the hospital environment and thoroughly enjoys supporting patients interested in accessing natural medicines for a variety of ailments via telehealth.

Her interest in this field of health care has lead her to attending the most recent United in Compassion (UIC) symposiums held in Australia in 2022 and 2023, and is excited to see how much research and awareness in Australia has grown over the last 12 months.

In her spare time, Alex loves the beach, trail running, gardening and cleaning up after her 2 young children and dog.

Tara Boos

Registered Nurse


Since 2018, Tara has been working within QLD Health Services, previously in the Medical Assessment Planning Unit and currently within the surgical ward of Nambour Hospital as an Acute Pain Services Clinical Nurse.  She has also worked in the disability sector for ten years as well as in horticulture on organic farms in the USA.  

Tara’s passion is advocating for her patients and giving them a voice.  She believes in a holistic approach for effective physical and mental health wellbeing.  

In her down time, Tara loves being outdoors, camping and hiking with family and friends and before going into nursing, Tara was a florist for six years and continues expressing her creative side through weaving and watercolour.

Campbell Anderson

Clinic Manager

Campbell is HanaMed's Clinic Manager and administration officer. He has had 3 years experience in the Natural Medicines industry, two of which he was involved with the set-up, growth and development of another telehealth clinic. Campbell will be your point of contact for any queries you may have as a patient and looks forward to assisting you however he can!
